We met again at Glaxo Wellcome, with Don Cain as host. Thanks, Don!
Our featured speaker was Rasmus Lerdorf, creator of PHP. He gave a talk on the origins of PHP, why it's not perl (or a competitor to perl, even), how you use it and what it's strengths are. The talk was well-received and resulted in quite a number of questions (as well as one convert [hi Brian :-)]). Thanks, Rasmus, for dropping by!
We gave away a copy of O'Reilly's User Friendly (a print version of Illiad's comic).
Next month's meeting will be a social... Please sign up to bring something. Thanks!
